Under the Sea

Nice little house close to the beach. The pool was our favorite part of the house and one of the main reasons for booking along with the good location to the beach and pet friendly. Communication was a little hit or miss. The owner wasn't always quick to reply to emails while we were there. Would of loved better communication. Maybe I should of called or texted but as a business owner I would think they would check emails more often. A large tree branch fell onto the driveway just missing our son's truck. Took a good 24 hours top hear back about that. For a 4 bedroom home the kitchen is smaller than we hoped. We had 6 adults and 2 children. We loved the back screen porch. The 2 ceiling fans, TV, outdoor sofa and chairs were really nice. They also have a table and chairs out there that we played cards on. The house overall was very clean upon arrival. However we had to deal with landscape company mowing the front and back lawn. They arrived just after we checked in. Not a relaxing way to start a family vacation. The shower in the bathroom off of the kitchen does not have any place to put shampoo, soap etc. It's a stand alone shower with glass sliding door and you have to put your stuff on the floor. A couple corner shelves would of made a big difference. Wi-Fi was good and the Samsung TV channels had many options for everyone. Driveway was big enough for 4 vehicles but the big tree that shades, which is nice, also is a hazard as I mentioned earlier with the large branch issue

Great backyard!!!! My family had an amazing time and the host was the most responsive I've had. A couple of issues that could not be helped during our stay and the host was all over every detail, including providing options outside the box to make our stay perfect. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked almost every night, and the accessories for the pool and beach (especially the wagon) were great to have. Great stay!!

We just left today and we had a wonderful stay at Under the Sea. Everything we expected and more. Comfortable beds, great pool and great neighbors on the right side that live in their property. Mindy is fantastic. I will definitely want to book that property again the next time we are in Hilton Head.

One of the cleanest property we’ve ever rented. The pool and yard are a 10, the pictures don’t do it justice. Same for the outdoor fireplace room. The only negatives are it’s a noisy neighborhood, near the fire department sirens, an airport take off lane and a yappy dog next door. None of which are the fault of the owner. The layout was perfect for 3 couples, we had our privacy when we wanted it, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the yard and pool. And one of the nicest and most responsive hosts I’ve ever dealt with and we are a family who always rents high end homes and we highly recommend this property.
